Disney Infinity - Toy Box Sets

The Toy Box was a sandbox mode included in all Disney Infinity titles. The Toy Box team consisted of 9 artists (Reed Hawker, Boston Madsen, Angie Simpson, Brian Cutler, Joe Olson, Scarlet Magre, David McClellan, Tim Wright, and myself) who created assets that looked like tangible toys made of plastic, textiles, etc. These assets also had to adhere to the established visual language of the Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, and Disney properties. Most assets and textures had to be modular/procedural, tileable, and interchangeable. They followed strict metrics and technical limitations to ensure that players had plenty of resources to let their imaginations go wild! These themed Toy Box sets were a collaborative effort of the team.
